Who said people aren't reading? There were thousands of people at the LOS ANGELES TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS at UCLA on Sunday. I was signing in the Sisters in Crime booth from 10-12 and got to meet and talk to lots of wonderful readers and other authors. Some of them even bought my books and audio books

Wow. How could I forget. At the beginning of the year I read The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly and I really liked it. My husband read it also and couldn't figure out why it was called the Lincoln Lawyer. He kept trying to tie in lawyer with President Lincoln. It was a head slap when I told him it was because the protagonist did business
